Stories in Clay

I’m a ceramic artist based in Cairns, Australia, working at the intersection of nature, sound, and form. Inspired by the tropical ecosystems around me—forests, coral reefs, and tangled roots—I create hand-built sculptural and functional pieces that reflect my curiosity about the natural world and the quiet stories it holds. My practice often incorporates anatomical and botanical motifs, and I love exploring surface through layering, carving, and experimentation. I'm currently completing my Diploma of Visual Arts at TAFE Queensland, and building my studio practice under the name Canopy Ceramics.
